MCIA Membership fees
Subscriptions vary according to category of membership.
Levy Members (Manufacturer and Importer Members)
Manufacturer and importer members registering up to 1.5% of the UK market have two membership options:
- Option 1 - £1050 pa + VAT which includes access to most MCIA benefits (as per General Members) but does not include trade space at Motorcycle Live (priority booking is included however) and detailed registration statistics.
- Option 2 - Registration Levy at £6.70 per registration up to 125cc and £17.00 per registration over 125cc with a minimum fee of £3150 pa + VAT. Machines with alternative powertrains (e.g. electric) will be categorised with equivalent combustion engines and charged according to the prevailing levy rates. This includes all member benefits with up to 250 square metres of trade space at Motorcycle Live (subject to availability) and detailed registration statistics.
Manufacturer and importer members registering over 1.5% of the market:
- Pay by Registration Levy at £6.70 per registration up to 125cc and £17.00 per registration over 125cc. Machines with alternative powertrains (e.g. electric) will be categorised with equivalent combustion engines and charged according to the prevailing levy rates.
- All member benefits are received, including trade space at Motorcycle Live (on a sliding scale according to volume of registrations) and often show build, as well as detailed registration statistical reports. A Board directorship is also offered.
General Members (Accessory and Component Suppliers, Service Providers, PR and Marketing agencies)
General Members subscriptions vary according to annual turnover figures (UK and motorcycle related only), as follows:

Associates, Marketing and PR category fees capped at Under £250K bracket.
General Member Fees are pro-rata’d in accordance with the membership year (1st April to 31st March).
Financial benefits associated with Mototcycle Live: New member companies are asked to commit to a minimum of two years membership. To qualify for financial benefits companies must be in membership from the beginning of the membership year that runs from 1st April (by 31st May at the very latest).
Fees may be spread by Direct Debit.
